All families seeking a
Christian education for their children are urged to apply for admission to
Conestoga Christian School. The
School Board of Trustees requires that at least one parent profess faith in Jesus Christ as Savior. Interviews are conducted to explore the nature
of that experience, the commitment of parent and child(ren) to Christian
education and the ability of CCS to meet the educational needs of the student.
Applications for admission
to Conestoga Christian School are accepted throughout the school year; however,
the majority of students begin their CCS experience in the Fall.
Application packets are available from the Development Office
(610.286.0353 Ext 402) or may be requested electronically by clicking here.
Parents and students are
welcome to visit the school and students may also request a day to “shadow”
a current CCS student. Please call the Development Office to make those
arrangements.
A Family Application,
previous school records and/or report cards and standardized test results are
required of all applicants; high school students (grade 9-12) are also asked to
complete a Student
Application. Students entering grades 6-12 must submit
Recommendation Forms completed by their pastor and another unrelated adult.
Once application forms are
all complete, a Family Interview is scheduled and student assessment is
conducted. When students are admitted, a Registration Fee of $150 per student is
paid to hold the space in the class.
CCS
Admissions Procedures
Conestoga Christian School admits
students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights,
privileges, program and activities generally accorded or made available to
students at the school. It does not
discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in
administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, scholarship and
loan program, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Tuition
Tuition
covers only a portion of the school’s total operating expenses.
CCS depends on gifts
from parents, friends of the school, area churches, and special fundraising
events to provide the additional funds needed each month for operational costs.
Additional fees are charged for resource room
instruction. See the CCS Parent
Handbook (available from the Development
Office) for the details of those expenses.
Tuition is paid in 10 equal
monthly installments from August through May.
A 1% tuition discount is given to families who pay the entire tuition
amount on or before August 10th.
Tuition Assistance is available to qualified families.

Assistance
Tuition
Assistance is available for families committed to Christian education but unable
to meet the financial obligations established by the school.
Because each family’s financial situation in any given year is unique,
CCS utilizes an independent 3rd party, FFNA, to evaluate needs.
The CCS Finance Committee grants Tuition Assistance based on FFNA’s
recommendations and awards are made by June 30th each year. Maximum aid awarded will not exceed 50% of tuition and
resource room fees. Families are
urged to alert CCS of any changes in financial status that may occur throughout
the year.
2008

Assistance Deadlines:
April
1, 2008: Regular Processing (via US
mail) due at FFNA
April 18, 2008: On-line Regular or

Any remaining aid will be granted as needed for
Tuition Assistance applications received after the

To be considered for
Tuition Assistance follow these TWO STEPS:
STEP 1: Complete a
PA
Tax credit application (PDF) for each student and submit it directly to the CCS Business Office with one copy of last year’s tax return.
You will need Adobe Reader to read the PDF file. If you do not
have it, you can download it here.
No
tuition assistance can be awarded without this short application and tax return on file with Conestoga Christian School.
STEP
2: Complete and submit a
financial aid application to FFNA using school ID #1048
Family Financial Needs Assessment (FFNA)
