A Thurber Carnival presented 
by Conestoga Christian School

            Students at Conestoga Christian School performed the play A Thurber Carnival on Friday and Saturday, May 27 and 28, 2005 at 7:30pm in the school gymnasium.  A Thurber Carnival is a collection of ten scenes based on different stories of James Thurber, including the two most familiar “The Last Flower” and “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty”.  The play includes a wide variety of material, including three “fables for our time”, spoofs on famous literature and other stories of normal people in unusual situations.
